Kendra McRuffin, an outside hitter/right side for WTC Volleyball, has signed to continue her athletic and academic career with Norfolk State University. The Spartans, located in Norfolk, Virginia, are a NCAA Division I athletic program, competing in the MEAC conference.

McRuffin, a 6’ 0” sophomore, from Glenn Heights, Texas who was a transfer from New Mexico Junior College, put up great numbers in her 20 matches with the Lady Westerners. She had 102 kills, averaging 1.44 per set, as well as 444 total attacks with a .038 hitting percentage. McRuffin also averaged .90 digs per set, 41 block assists, 48 total blocks, 0.68 blocks per set, and 1.8 points per set, accounting for 15% of total team points for the season.
