The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 1-7.
Western Texas College outside hitter Alexis Mancera is the WJCAC Player of the Week. The 5-9 freshman from El Paso, TX had 21 kills, 28 digs and 2 blocks in six sets played last week. She had a hitting percentage of .556 in one match at .303 in the other.
