Kristina O’Banion, a sophomore with WTC Lady Westerner Softball, has signed to play with Texas Lutheran University, an NCAA Division III university in Seguin, Texas.

Originally from Cypress, Texas, O’Banion plays first base, third base, and outfield for WTC. She will join the Bulldog program after a freshman campaign that included a .392 batting average, 17 doubles, 37 RBI’s, 16 stolen bases, and a .418 on base percentage. O’Banion also had an 86% fielding percentage that included 81 putouts and a double play.

O’Banion was also a WJCAC All-Academic in the fall of 2018 and named to the WJCAC All-Conference Softball Team as an honorable mention for her infield play.
