Western Texas College welcomed Ranger College to Weaver Field on Friday for a competitive conference matchup. Both teams entered the day 2-0 in conference play and looked to remain perfect.

After a keeper and post deflection, Myles Taylor snuck the ball past the Ranger keeper for the games first score, 1-0. Minutes later Duran and Montoya almost extended the lead. The Westerners bench was energetic and loud to encourage their mates on the pitch.
The Rangers found themselves near the Westerners net to tie the game. Florian Quast leapt into the air to make the save and preserve the lead. With 13 minutes left in the half, the Westerners were able to double their lead. Pablo Lobon was free in front of the goal and struck a beautiful ball between the Rangers keepers legs, 2-0.
