
Snyder, TX - Western Texas men's basketball is set to start their 2024 season November 1st.
The Westerner men's basketball program will begin their regular season in Thatcher, AZ at the Eastern Arizona Classic. Western Texas will play their first home game in Snyder at the WTC Coliseum on Tuesday, November 5th. The Westerners hit the road again to face off against Weatherford and visit Plano, TX for the East/West Challenge.
Western Texas basketball will host their WTC Classic tournament on November 21-23rd at the Coliseum. On November 26th, the Westerners will take a long trip to Colorado to play Lamar Community College. Following, the team will come back for a home game and then visit Big Spring for the Howard Classic.
To start the new year, the Westerners will begin conference play on January 6th against Clarendon. The team will continue their conference schedules with two games against New Mexico Junior, South Plains, Odessa, Howard, Midland, Frank Phillips, New Mexico Military and Clarendon. The regular season will conclude on March 6th against New Mexico Military. Head Coach Matt Hardy enters his fourth season at the helm with second year Assistant Coach Carson Hammond.
