HOBBS, NM (February 12, 2024) - In an intense basketball matchup, the Western Texas College Westerners emerged victorious with an 87-82 road win against New Mexico Junior College. Despite having a limited roster of only six players, the Westerners displayed remarkable teamwork and skill to secure the victory.

A trio of standout performances paved the way for the Westerners' success. Aaron Potter led the charge with an impressive stat line, contributing 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Sam Kodi delivered an outstanding all-around performance, coming close to a triple-double with 22 points, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds.
