Western Texas College Baseball Tryout Camp
Western Texas College Baseball is hosting a tryout camp Saturday, November 18th, 2023!
This tryout camp gives prospective student-athletes an opportunity to showcase their abilities to the WTC coaching staff, as well as, a chance to check out the campus and our athletic facilities.
This tryout camp is for 2024 high school graduates and younger.
The tryout camp will take place at the WTC Baseball Complex on the Western Texas College campus in Snyder, TX beginning at 9:30 A.M. Check-in will be at 9:00 A.M. The cost is $75. Cash or check will be accepted. The tryout camp is limited to 50 players. Spots will fill quickly so register as soon as possible to claim your spot! Payment may be made at the baseball field on the day of the camp.
A waiver will also be signed before participating.
We will run a pro-style workout (timed 60, throws from OF, throws from IF, BP). We will then divide participants into teams and intrasquad the rest of the day, allowing pitchers to throw live to batters (based on the number of players signed up, this schedule may be subject to change).
If you are a pitcher only, you may arrive and sign in a little later than the designated arrival time, as pitchers won't be needed until the intrasquad session.
