Western Texas College Rodeo 2021

It’s Rodeo time!

Western Texas College will host their annual rodeo April 15, 16, and 17, 2022 at the County Arena, 3548 Gary Brewer Road in Snyder. This year’s rodeo will be held outdoors, not at the WTC Coliseum as in past years.

Admission is free.

The Rodeo starts at 7:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday evenings. The top ten from each event will compete at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Slacks:

Breakaway Roping Slack: 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 15

Bareback Bronc Riding and Calf Roping Slacks: 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 16

Team Roping Slack: 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17

The WTC Rodeo will host standard rodeo events including bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, breakaway roping, team roping and barrel racing.

Fifteen schools are scheduled to compete. These schools include Cisco College, Clarendon College, Eastern New Mexico University, Frank Phillips College, Howard College, Odessa College, Ranger College, South Plains College, Sul Ross State University, Tarleton State University, Texas Tech University, Vernon College, Weatherford College, and West Texas A&M.
