Over Labor Day weekend, your Lady Westerners volleyball team competed in the Navarro College Labor Day Tournament in Corsicana, TX. Sophomore outside hitter Madison Brown, a transfer from Central Arizona College, had a standout weekend landing herself a spot on the All-Tournament team. In all 3 matches over the weekend, Madison led the offense in kills, with 2 of the 3 matches ending in a double-double in kills and digs. Playing in all 11 sets, she finished the weekend with 30 digs and 40 kills, while hitting .163.  

The Lady Westerners are back in action on September 6, as they open conference with a white out match against Midland College, at 7 pm in Snyder. They are then back on the road to the Odessa College Tournament this weekend as they play 4 more matches.
