Carrie Lacy, a sophomore guard with WTC Lady Westerner Basketball, has signed with Friends University. The Friends University Falcons, located in Wichita, Kansas, compete in the NAIA as a member of the KCAC conference.

Originally from Victoria, Texas, Lacy has been a member of the Lady Westerner basketball program for the previous two years. In her freshman campaign, Lacy averaged 20 minutes per game with a 41% field goal percentage, 33% from the 3-point line, and a 68% free throw percentage, with 8 points per game.

Lacy’s sophomore year saw her play 26 minutes per game with a 36% field goal percentage, 25% from the 3-point line, 70% free throw percentage, and 10 points per game. In her two years, Lacy averaged 4 rebounds per game, 3 assists per game, and 1 steal per game.

Lacy was named part of the WJCAC All-Conference women’s basketball team as an honorable mention for the 2021 season.
