This year the 2016-2017 Western Texas College Softball Team is working extremely hard in the classroom, weight room and in team practices as well as in fall scrimmages to improve on last year's season. We welcome the 2016-2017 season with enthusiasm, determination and commitment in order to win the Western Junior College Athletic Conference Championship, Region V West Championship, 2017NJCAA National Championship and NFCA Academic National Championship!
The purpose of this letter is to respectfully request your support in the 6th Annual 50 inning softball intrasquad scrimmage fundraising event that our team will participate in on October 24th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. & October 25th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Western Texas College campus at United Field the home of the Western Texas College Softball Team. The funds received from this event will go solely towards the Lady Westerner Softball program and will allow us to make improvements that will have a direct impact on our team's preparations. We are asking for a donation of .20 cents per inning which comes to a total donation of $10. We are grateful for any donation you are able to make whether it is less or more than $10. THERE IS NOT A DEADLINE TO SEND DONATIONS IN BY.
