Western Texas College will host their Cross Country Open/Region 5 Preview on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the WTC Cross Country Course. The course is adjacent to the WTC Soccer Complex just across from the main entrance at 6200 College Avenue in Snyder, Texas.
Runners from Snyder and the surrounding area are welcome at the Community 5K.
The WTC Cross Country Course challenges cross country runners with its dirt course with some slight inclines. The 5k race is one small loop and one big loop. The 8k race is two big loops. All kilometers and miles will be marked on the course.
The entry fees for the Cross Country Open are $20.00 for community runners, $50.00 per college team ($100.00 for both), and $10.00 for unattached college runners. Please email all entries to jwilliams@wtc.edu by 12:00 p.m. CST, Wednesday, September 11th, 2019. The entry form can be accessed below.
Packet pickup and drop off are at the WTC Soccer Complex. Restrooms (porta potties) are also located there with showers at the field house on the far side of campus in the WTC HPE/Gym (Building 7). You are welcome to park in any parking lot on campus.
Top 10 individuals in each race will receive a t-shirt (shirts will not be mailed out). Results of the race will be sent to coaches as soon as possible after the meet is over.
