As a former junior college track and field athlete, a two-time California Junior College champion in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes, and NCAA II All-American and national champion in the 55 and 100-meter dashes, she holds the insight necessary to guide athletes that are striving for similar goals and careers.

Abigail Kwarteng, a three-time USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week honoree, set a national record for Ghana in the high jump with a mark of 1.87m (6-1½).

In her sixth year coaching sprints/hurdles, jumps and relays, Williams guided the Westerners to a clean sweep of the sprint and sprint relay titles at the national meet. WTC won the 100, 200, 400, 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

Coach Williams has slowed her track & field athletic career down to compete at the USATF Masters level.
