Western Texas College had a very productive weekend at the Univ of New Mexico Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational over the weekend.
Women's Team
- Kimisha Chambers 60 hurdles - national qualifier, fastest time in the NJCAA- shool record...200m ranked 2nd in the NJCAA
- Mariya Hudson - national qualifier in the 60 and the 200, ranked 4th in the NJCAA in the 200
- Abigail Kwarteng - national qualifier, ranked #1 in the NJCAA
- Deborah Acquah - national qualifier, ranked #1 in the NJCAA, school record
- Brittney Johnson - 60m national qualifier
Men's Team
- Emmanuel Yeboah - 60m national qualifier, ranked # 3 in the NJCAA, 200m national qualifier
- Shivnarine Smalling - 60m national qualifier, ranked #4 in the NJCAA
- Rayon Butler - 600m national qualifier, ranked #1 in the NJCAA
- Khamal Stewart-Baynes - 200m national qualifier, ranked # 3 in the NJCAA
