In an 8 team meet comprised of WTC, Texas Tech, Oral Roberts, Wayland Baptist, West Texas A&M, Angelo State, Abilene Christian and Tarleton State, the WTC men's and women's teams did far more than hold their own.
Combined, the teams came away with 4 event wins, several other podium performances, 13 national qualifying marks and 2 school records; Shivnarine Smalling in the 100 meters on the men's side, Kimisha Chambers in the 400 meter hurdles and Deborah Acquah in the triple jump on the women's side.

- Shanice Williams - 2nd in the 100, national qualifier
- Cameka Witter - 3rd in the 400 national qualifier
- Kimisha Chambers - 1st in the 400 hurdles and 5th in the 100 hurdles, both national qualifiers
- Abigail Kwarteng - 2nd in the high jump, national qualifier, school record
- Deborah Acquah -1st in the long jump and 2nd in the triple jump, school record...both national qualifiers
- Shivnarine Smalling - 1st in the 100, national qualifier
- Women's 4x100 relay 2nd, national qualifier

- Melvin Johnson - 3rd in the 200, 3rd in 100 meters, national qualifier
- Orwin Emilien - 4th in the 400, national qualifier
- Sean Washington - 6th in the 800
- Robin Black - 2nd in the 400 hurdles, national qualifier
- Louis Davis - 4th in 100 meters, national qualifier
- Chris Walker - 34d in the triple jump
- Men's 4x100 - 2nd, national qualifier
