CLEBURNE, TX – Western Texas College Men's and Women's Soccer teams traveled to Cleburne, Texas for the Region V Soccer Championships, which took place on October 23 and 24 at The Depot.

WTC men entered play as the #2 seed with a 2-2 conference record. In game 1, the Westerners defeated Ranger College 3-0, with goals coming from Paul Trejo, Trevor Kacou, and Hedil Cuatinanquiz. Assists were provided by Ramone Lewis and Ronaldo Banks. In a rainy and lightning delayed Region V Championship Game, WTC would come up short against Hill College with a final score of 1-0. The Westerners finish as runner-up in Region V.
