Former WTC Rodeo Athletes to Compete on TV Show

Zane Runyon and Hadley Hunting, both former athletes for the rodeo team at Western Texas College, will be part of a group of twelve contestants on the reality television show "Ultimate Cowboy Showdown." The show, a six-night event, will premiere tonight, October 14, on INSP at 8 pm central.

The show is described as "12 cowboys from across the country competing for the ultimate cowboy prize—a herd of cattle they can raise and take to market. As the competition will air on INSP, over the course of six nights, viewers will watch the strong-willed cowboys undergo a series of grueling physical and mental challenges that will test them individually and as teams. Chock full of explosive drama, and lots of ego, the last cowboy standing will walk away with a prize package that includes the herd, the coveted 'Ultimate Cowboy Showdown' belt buckle, and a lifetime of bragging rights."

"Ultimate Cowboy Showdown" will air from October 14 through October 19 at 8 pm central on INSP, with the final showdown airing Sunday, October 20 at 8 pm central. The show is hosted by country music star Trace Adkins. Check local listings for INSP channel number and airings.
