The Inaugural Wayland Baptist Invitational was a great stop for the Westerner Men.  A near freezing Monday morning turned into a beautiful afternoon as Sophomore Jake Leatherwood carded an eight-under 63 to tie for the lead. Tuesday's panhandle winds created a tougher course but Leatherwood, Tafadzwa Nyamukondiwa, Callum Tibbs, Dante Griner, and Ryan Hedges stayed on the grind to secure a third-place team finish.  Leatherwood's second round -2 was enough to grab him a second place finish individually. 

The Westerners travel to Odessa Country Club next week for the NJCAA National Preview.
