Trey Tigart is entering his second season as an assistant coach for the Western Texas College baseball program. He assists with all facets of the program with a focus on outfielders, base running and hitting. He is also the director of operations for the Westerners. 

Prior to coming to Western Texas College, Tigart was an assistant baseball coach in Sikeston,  Missouri for two years.  He was also a head coach of a collegiate summer program in the Mon-Clair League and managed a baseball training facility.

Tigart holds a bachelor degree in business management from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he played all four years of his collegiate career. For the Gorloks, he was a pitcher and is ranked in the top five all-time in saves and top ten all-time in appearances during his career. They won three out of four SLIAC Conference Championships and made it to the DIII World Series in 2015.
