Western Texas College Baseball will host tryout camps throughout the 2018-2019 school year.
We invite you to attend one of these events.
Tryouts give you a great opportunity to show your abilities to the WTC coaching as well as a chance to check out the campus and the athletic facilities.
Scheduled Baseball Tryout Camp dates are:
June 11th, 2019
August 6th, 2019
These Tryout Camps are for 2019, 2020, & 2021 high school graduates only.
Each camp will take place at the WTC Baseball Complex on the Western Texas College campus in Snyder beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m.
Cost is $50. Each tryout camp is limited to 50 players, so register as soon as possible!
Payment may be made beforehand in the WTC Business Office or on the field the day of the camp.
Please note that this is not an evaluation camp, meaning we will not be handing back any specific feedback on paper regarding performance, etc.
For the morning session, there will be a pro-style workout (timed 60, fielding, BP). After lunch on your own, we will break up participants into teams & intersquad the rest of the day, allowing pitchers to throw live to hitters (based on the amount of players signed up, the schedule may be subject to change).
If you are a pitcher only, you may arrive & sign-in after the lunch break. Pitchers won't be needed until the afternoon session.
