Trint Palmer is the Head Athletic Trainer at Western Texas College.

Palmer is a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) by the Texas Department of State Health Services and is also a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Athletic Training Board of Certification (BOC).

Prior to his employment at WTC, Trint served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Angelo State University where he worked primarily with the football, baseball, basketball, softball, and soccer programs.  In addition, he served as a lecturer in Angelo State University’s Athletic Training Education Program.

Palmer began his athletic training experience at Tarleton State University serving as an Athletic Training Student and then as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer.  While at TSU, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in athletic training and a master’s degree in education. Palmer has also worked with a variety of NCAA sports.

Palmer is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Southwestern Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA), and the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association (TSATA).  In addition to his duties as Head Athletic Trainer at WTC, Palmer will assume the responsibilities of teaching athletic training classes to prepare students to pursue a career in athletic training.

Palmer and his wife Amber reside in San Angelo, Texas with their three children, Rachel, Lane, and Aidyn.
