Western Texas College

Haylee Martinez is in her first year as Head Athletic Trainer at Western Texas College.

Martinez began her athletic training experience at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) where she was an athletic training student. At WTAMU, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2019. She has recently earned her Masters of Education in Sports Administration from Midwestern State University in 2021.

The Fabens, Texas, native is a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) by the Texas Department of State Health Services and is also a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Athletic Training Board of Certification (BOC). Martinez is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Southwestern Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA).

Martinez teaches PHED 2356:Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries course at WTC.
