The Westerner Men’s and Women’s Soccer Programs will host two sessions of the Westerners Soccer Camp for children in the 3rd through 9th grades. The first session is scheduled for May 29 through May 31, 2023. The second session will be held from June 1 through June 3, 2023. Age groups will be split into groups, and each group’s session will be assigned a different time.
All campers get to play on Weaver Field, the official field of the WTC Men’s and Women’s Westerner Soccer teams.
The Westerners Soccer Camp provides an excellent opportunity for young players to work with expert coaches and get individual advice to help campers improve their game.
Campers will work with Soccer Coaches Jaquelinn Moreno-Zavala and Charlie Michel and team members. The camp focuses on skills development appropriate to the age of the camper, including:
- skills and ball techniques
- footwork exercises
- strategy and teamwork exercises
- and fun games & trail matches.
