WTC Track Competes at Angelo State

WTC Track competed at Angelo State University on April 1 and 2 in their second outdoor meet of the season. Highlights from the meet in San Angelo are below.

 

Maricia Spence finished the heptathlon in 6th place with a national qualifying mark in the long jump, a personal best in the long jump and shot put, and a seasonal best in the 200. Her total score of 4,447 ranks her fourth in the NJC AA.

Dy’Mond Wiley finished fifth in the 400 with a seasonal best.

Shadae Findley finished first in the 800 with the third-best NJC AA mark and first in the 1500 with a seasonal best.

Latifah Pennock Finished fifth in the 1500 with a seasonal best.

Maricia Spence finished third in the 100 hurdles with a personal best.

Tyreke Bryan finished fourth in the 100, a national qualifier and personal best.

Nicquaine Henry finished sixth in the 400 with a seasonal best.

Wesley Wright finished third in his section of the 1500 with a seasonal best.

Jose Garcia finished fifth in his section of the 1500 with a seasonal best.

Daylin Williams finished third in the 110 hurdles with a national qualifier and personal best.

Romel Plummer finished second in the 400 hurdles with a national qualifier.

Jauvaney James finished fourth in the 400 hurdles with a national qualifier.

Gloria Aguilera accomplished a personal best in the 1500.

Samuel Martinez finished seventh in the 5K with a personal best.

Geovanni Cruz finished ninth in the 5K with a personal best.

Mayra Serrano had a personal best in the 1500.

Joseph Baluti had a personal best in the 100.
