Western Texas College Basketball Pink Games

Pink Games

Western Texas College will hold its Pink Games to support breast cancer awareness on Thursday, February 14, 2019. The women's game begins at 5:45 p.m. and the men's game starts at 7:30 p.m.

Western Texas College Athletics understands that breast cancer touches many of our lives individually or the lives of those we know and love. The WTC Athletic department is aware of this and wants to do all we can to join in the fight against breast cancer.

We have raised money during soccer and volleyball games and now we are excited to be able to recognize and support breast cancer survivors during basketball games as well.

On Thursday, February 14th, our Basketball Pink Games will be honor breast cancer survivors and raise money for breast cancer research. We would like to recognize anyone who has survived this disease.

If you, your spouse or someone you know would like to join us on this night, we would love to have you and recognize your fight and survival.

Please send Athletic Director Tammy Davis your name or the name of the survivor at tdavis@wtc.edu or call 325-574-7695.  We will recognize all survivors during halftime of the women's game which begins at 5:45 p.m.

Our teams will be wearing their pink shirts and we would love it if you would also wear pink in recognition of breast cancer awareness.

WTC Athletics will collect donations to support breast cancer awareness during the games.

WTC basketball games are FREE for WTC students and high school student-athletes with a school I.D. General admission is $5.
